H.I.J.O.S. (Hijos e Hijas por la Identidad y la Justicia contra el Olvido y el Silencio), is an organization that for more than 13 years has focused on revising Argentina’s history, restoring the identity of missing persons born during the last military dictatorship and advocating for the life imprisonment of those responsible for the genocide. HIJOS is made up of the sons and daughters of missing persons who claim the struggle of their parents and peers for a country ...with justice and solidarity, beyond their diversity. Their claim seek people’s understanding of the processes that took place during the sixties and seventies in Argentina, and learning from that bad experience so that it becomes valuable to build our and other countries future.
Role of the volunteer • Survey information from different sources, newspapers, books, documents, manuscripts, etc., and systematization of such information in the framework of research related to Human Rights in Argentina and particularly in Cordoba.
• Collaborate in spreading activities related to Argentinean Human Rights issues in European countries.
• Collaborate in fundraising activities.
